Twin City Hide, Inc. is a well established cattle hide processing company, incorporated in 1919, family owned & operated.  We process about 35,000 cattle hides each week.  We also have capacity to wet blue about 6,000 hides per day, at our associated companies, Twin City Tanning Co., LLP , Twin City Tanning Waterloo, LLC,

 

All hides are received from Big packer type, machine (pulled) flayed, brine cured, well - trimmed & fleshed.  Palletized (flesh out) on wooden pallets.  Estimated 80/20% I/II or better.

 

All hides are available in the following conditions:

 

      1.)  Brine cured, trimmed & fleshed. 

 

      2.)  Wet blue, tannery run, rejects out, unsplit (full substance), sided, or whole hide.

 

      3.)  Wet blue, tannery run, rejects out, Grain's (top split), sided or whole hide, (split in lime from green/fresh hides).

 

      4.)  Wet blue, whole hide, drop splits, from Steers, Cows and Bulls, split in wet blue or lime.

Used for garment & shoe lace leather (Sometimes furniture leather).

Est 30-40% can be used for analine leather.  Spready & thin hides.
